It is easier to become a volunteer firefighter than you think. We provide all equipment and free professional training through our training center
at the Montgomery County Fire Academy. At one time, every volunteer member of Station 39 made the decision to take the first step to help our community.
We will aid you and support you every step of the way.
In addition to the men and women who respond to emergencies, other types of members are also needed. We are always looking for volunteers with
various types of knowledge, skills and abilities. Fire departments across the nation need volunteers with experience in business, accounting, marketing,
medicine, law enforcement, mechanics, construction, computers and fundraising.
